About

Dialogue between the luminaries of science and the next generation of top researchers has been at the centre of the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings since 1951. On the occasion of the 66th Lindau Meeting, more than 30 Nobel Laureates and 400 excellent young scientists from approximately 80 countries will come together in the Southern German town of Lindau - to share their knowledge and experiences, to gain inspiration and motivation, and to expand their contact networks.

Press

The Lindau Meetings attract large interest, also among science journalists from around the globe: Every year, up to 100 journalists from 40 countries register for accreditation with intent to cover the meeting.

Accredited journalists have free access to all lectures and panel discussions of the programme. In addition, there will be plenty of opportunities for informal exchange with the meeting participants on the fringes of the sessions as well as during the social events. With the assistance of the organisers, journalists can take advantage of a variety of interview appointments with selected laureates, young meeting participants and guests.

Travel & Accommodation Grants for Journalists

Journalists are being offered the opportunity to apply for free participation in the 66th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting. The Council for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings will cover the travel and accommodation costs of select journalists.

A short CV listing your professional experience and your current occupation, three samples of work (indicating respective medium), as well as a letter of motivation stating your specific interest in the meeting and its participants are compulsory.
