Elsevier selected to publish open-access journal: Engineering

New journal will be published in collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Engineering

Oxford, UK, August 10, 2016 - Elsevier, a world-leading provider of scientific, technical and medical information products and services, today announced that it has been selected to publish Engineering, an open access journal published in collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

Engineering was founded in 2015 in China and will now be published for a global audience. The journal aims to provide a high-level platform where academic achievements of great importance in engineering science and technology can be shared. Research findings published in Engineering should contribute to new innovations in order to foster the development of world-class industries and engineering projects of great socio-economic significance.

Discussing the journal, Co-Editor-in-Chief Zhihua Zhong, from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, commented: "With an ever-increasing importance of engineering innovations and collaborations, Engineering will promote and facilitate multidisciplinary collaborations and advance science in the broadest possible way."
