Brandon Keim is a freelance journalist specializing in
science, environment and technology (and generalizing in biology, history, nature, sustainability, culture,
anthropology, policy, ethics, neuroscience, psychology and medicine.) Since 2007 he's written for Wired,
originally as a blogger and then an editor and reporter; he's also written for many publications, including
Scientific American Mind, Aeon Magazine, NOVA, Nautilus Magazine,
IEEE Spectrum and Adbusters. He's made broadcast appearances on a variety of NPR shows,
and is working on a book about handwriting. Born and raised in Bangor, Maine, he's now based in Brooklyn, New York.
