Scientists documented juvenile salmon traversing Washington coast waters between three watersheds on the Olympic Peninsula. Illustration shows the travels of two juvenile coho salmon and one juvenile steelhead between the drainages over periods of about 7 to 11 months. The numbers show the sequence of their movements.
