Assistant Professor Andy Tay (right), Mr Arun Kumar (left) and their team from the National University of Singapore have developed an innovative ‘food delivery service’ – known as Nanostraw Electro-actuated Transfection (NExT) – to transport cancer-fighting genes efficiently to immune cells, boosting their ability to detect and kill cancer cells.
