A Bosonic Qubit Developed by Nord Quantique (IMAGE)
Caption
A bosonic qubit developed by Nord Quantique. Made of aluminum, these cavities now contain two tiny "poles", each operating at a different frequency. These additional frequencies bring a host of error correction benefits. Furthermore, increasing the number of photons per mode brings even greater quantum error correction.
