Using super-resolution microscopy, Assistant Professor Samy Lamouille discovered an association in the brain cancer glioblastoma between the protein connexin 43, shown in green, and parts of cells called microtubules, in magenta, that helps glioblastoma stem cells survive treatments and spread.
