Spontaneous regression-like phenomenon in Th-MYCN mice (IMAGE)
Caption
All 3-week-old Th-MYCN mice exhibited neuroblast hyperplasia in the superior mesenteric ganglion (SMG), but this was no longer detectable in some mice by 6 weeks of age. Furthermore, while 80% of Th-MYCN mice died from neuroblastoma, the remaining 20% survived, raising the possibility of spontaneous regression in a subset of mice.
