3D graphene paper-based tandem metal-free thin-film supercapacitors with integrated 200 V output (IMAGE)

High-quality laser-pyrolyzed 3D graphene papers were achieved through reaction molecular dynamics simulation and process parameter optimization. By employing stacking integration technique of tandem supercapacitors, metal-/separator-free 3D graphene papers-based tandem thin-film supercapacitors (TFSCs) with a compact structure (3.8 cm³), a voltage of up to 200 V, and high performance can be fabricated. All the tandem TFSCs from 1 to 160 cells show excellent performance uniformity. 160-tandem TFSCs have high voltage density and can light up 100 LEDs for 30 seconds.
