A novel treatment strategy for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) management (IMAGE)
Caption
Researchers at Institute of Science Tokyo created a mouse model of the aggressive subtype of HCC and provided insights into its underlying molecular mechanism. Using these insights, they demonstrated that a combination therapy using angiogenesis inhibition along with immune checkpoint inhibitors is a promising treatment approach for managing the aggressive HCC subtype.
