Lattice Cl− reconstruction in a ternary hydroxychloride preelectrocatalyst for efficient saline water oxidation (IMAGE)
Caption
A NiFeCo hydroxychloride was investigated as an efficient pre-electrocatalyst for saline water oxidation. The lattice Cl- leaching during catalysis led to the enlarged surface area and high intrinsic activity of the catalyst. The electrolyte Cl- incorpration to the catalyst lattice resulted in the anti-corrosion performance and high electrocatalytic stability.
