A promising mRNA vaccine for neovascular eye diseases

Researchers at Science Tokyo developed an mRNA vaccine that suppressed abnormal retinal blood vessel growth in mouse models. The vaccine can be administered intramuscularly and showed effectiveness comparable to current eye injection therapies, while offering a less invasive alternative.
