Imaging mass cytometry images showing many myeloid cells in hepatoblastoma

Using a special imaging technique (imaging mass cytometry), we made immune cells visible in hepatoblastoma tissue. On the left you see an overview of the tumor structure, with immune cells shown in yellow. The middle image shows that many myeloid cells are present in the tumor. The image on the right shows that T cells (CD3 – green), another type of immune cell, are mostly absent.
