TLS (IMAGE)
Caption
A fluorescence image of a tertiary lymphoid structure (TLS), the lymph node-like immune structure developed in tumors. B cells (white) are making a dense aggregate of TLS. High endothelial venules (red) developed around TLS are specialized blood vessels that function as immune cells' gateways to tumors, through which B cells and T cells are recruited from the blood circulation into the tumor to fight cancer cells.
