Testing antiviral CRISPR RNA therapeutics in human Organ Chips (IMAGE)
Caption
The Wyss team designed a CRISPR RNA therapy able to broadly fight influenza A virus infection and a preclinical system to test it efficacy and safety in. The system, which utilizes human Organ Chip technology, can be applied to the future development and translation of such therapies and overcomes major limitations with animal models.
