Antigen presenting cells capture tumour antigen within the tumour microenvironment and migrate to tumour-draining lymph nodes where they prime tumour-reactive T cells. Tumour-reactive T cells then migrate to the tumour microenvironment where they exert anti-tumour effector functions. TIL: Tumour-Infiltrating Lymphocyte.
