Magc superconductor (IMAGE)
Caption
Physicists use a new platform to measure magic-angle graphene’s superconducting gap. The method involves “tunneling” electrons between two layers of magic-angle twisted tri-layer graphene (in yellow) while measuring the material’s superconducting state. The team’s experiments are the first to show clear evidence that MATTG is an unconventional superconductor.
