Published today in Science, a team led by Aseem Ansari, St. Jude Department of Chemical Biology and Therapeutics, identified 117 kinases, including the tyrosine kinase EGFR, that can phosphorylate the tail of RNA polymerase II, revealing new insights into cell signaling and disease.
