The system consists of single-component FCC crystalline grains (A particles) surrounded by amorphous regions (a 65:35 mixture of A and B particles with Lennard-Jones potentials).The maximum strength（☆）occurs at (D, l) » (45, 6), while the purely polycrystalline configuration (l = 2) exhibits the classical Hall–Petch and inverse Hall–Petch relationships.
