Southwest Research Institute and Trinity University will develop an intranasal delivery system for oxytocin that may one day treat patients suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder or PTSD. Led by Trinity University Associate Professor of Psychology Dr. Kah-Chung Leong, right, Southwest Research Institute Scientist Jasmine Jaramillo, left, and Dr. Mike Rubal (not pictured) will formulate oxytocin into a nasal spray for Dr. Leong to test on animal models.
