Vital sign predictors associated with xylazine detection (IMAGE)

Patients with xylazine had higher rates of bradycardia on initial ED vital signs (6.3-percent) compared with those with[1]out xylazine (2.6-percent). Similar frequencies of tachycardia (12.6-percent vs 16.4-percent), hypertension (14.7% vs 12.8%), hypotension (0.8-percent vs 1.7-percent), bradypnea (3.8-percent vs 4.3-percent) and hypoxia (11.7-percent vs. 12.8-percent) were noted for patients with xylazine and patients without xylazine.
