Orbit and invasion in multicellular spheroids

Caption

Multicellular spheroids are initially slightly elongated but round up as they begin to orbit. However, this applies gradually increasing forces on the surrounding collagen matrix at the top and bottom, which gradually remodels the matrix architecture to steer cells towards outward invasion along the initial elongation direction
