Aptamer-based wearable electrochemical sensors for continuous biomarker monitoring. Schematic overview of aptamer-based wearable electrochemical sensing platforms for continuous, real-time biomarker monitoring in vivo. By integrating nucleic acid aptamers with electrochemical signal transduction, these systems enable dynamic detection of biomarkers across diverse applications, including drug metabolism monitoring, wound management, disease management and prevention, and health monitoring. Targets such as metabolites, proteins, bacteria, inflammatory factors, insulin, and human hormones can be measured at varying concentrations using non-invasive or minimally invasive wearable devices, highlighting the versatility of aptamer-enabled continuous sensing technologies.
