The reported phonon-laser frequency comb incorporates an ultrathin silicon nitride (SiN) membrane, coupled to an optical cavity. Circulating laser light exerts radiation pressure on the membrane, driving phonon lasing and the formation of a dense, uniform frequency comb spanning a broad acoustic range from about 10 Hz to 14 MHz.
