On the right, The Scream as it may appear in 300 years. Some areas, such as the green ones, are very stable. Cadmium yellow and vermilion red are far more vulnerable. The new tool, "Light Damage Estimator,” also shows that one of the blue pigments, ultramarine, will fade.
