(A and B) Approximately monthly (±14-d moving window) time series of GPP (μmol CO2 m−2 s−1), tower SIF/π (mW m−2 nm−1 sr−1) TROPOMI SIF (mW m−2 nm−1 sr−1), OCO-2, and OCO-3 SIF (mW m−2 nm−1 sr−1), as well as CSIF (mW m−2 nm−1 sr−1) in (A) 2019 and (B) 2020. (C) Footprints of satellite SIF observations (for reference, the spatial footprint of CSIF is 0.5 × 0.5 km, whereas the TROPOMI footprint is 16 × 16 km). To align with the satellite SIF, we divided SIF by π to correct for the hemispherical SIF measured at the tower.
