Elom Doe (left), a third-year doctoral student in pharmaceutical sciences from Accra, Ghana, and Jaidev Chakka, principal scientist in the School of Pharmacy, show off a 3D-printed implant produced at the university's Thad Cochran Research Center. Similar implants loaded with anticancer therapies may be used to deliver medication directly to tumors.
