The PolyU Department of Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering has successfully launched Hong Kong’s first low-Earth-orbit communication–navigation integrated satellite payload “LEO CNAV”. The payload will undergo in-orbit testing. The research team is led by Prof. Wen Chih-yung, Chair Professor of Aeronautical Engineering of the Department. Assistant Professor Prof. Xu Bing (right) and Research Assistant Professor Dr Wang Tianqi (left) serve as the satellite payload designer and the person-in-charge of system integration and testing, respectively.
