Researchers Develop and Test a 5.8-GHz Origami Reflectarray for CubeSat Communications

Researchers developed and tested a deployable antenna for the 3U CubeSat OrigamiSat-2. Weighing only 64 grams and achieving a storage ratio of 265%, the antenna enables CubeSats to transmit data at high rates despite their compact size.
