Figure | Working principle of the intelligent metasurface. Concept and workflow of the no-code multimodal OCT platform. An illustrative schematic demonstrating the primary capabilities of the developed online system. Users can seamlessly interact with the web-based platform without advanced programming skills. The platform serves two main functions: (1) generating highly realistic digital phantoms of OCT signals to simulate specific tissue microstructures and benchmark various signal processing algorithms under strictly controlled conditions; and (2) performing advanced multimodal analysis of real OCT scans. The multimodal processing module extracts diagnostically valuable features, converting standard structural OCT images into spatially resolved optical attenuation coefficient maps and speckle contrast maps. These extracted feature maps significantly enhance the visual contrast between tumor and normal tissues, facilitating precise, non-invasive cancer diagnostics and margin evaluation.
