Creating bias by a free flow of information (IMAGE)
Caption
Agents have partial observations (lightbulbs) about the state of the world: green or red. Their observations determine their initial beliefs: green-leaning or red-leaning. Agents are randomly paired, and the likelihood of being paired increases with belief similarity. They then honestly select as many observations as possible and exchange them with their counterpart. Both agents process the new observations perfectly and update their beliefs. Then a new pairing occurs.
