Current Models of Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) (IMAGE)

Recently developed animal models include genetically modified mice and chemically-induced PSC in mice. Cell models include liver cells, cell lines, organoids, and bioengineered organoids. These models replicate different aspects of PSC and can guide the development of new therapies against this disorder.
