Patients with even one to five PSMA-detected bone metastases progressed to treatment-resistant cancer significantly faster than patients with no bone spread (p < 0.0001). Compared to patients whose PSMA PET showed no distant metastases, patients with bone lesions had more than five times the risk of developing castration-resistant diseases even though all patients with bone lesions received systemic therapy intensification.
