LDH-templated ZnO/ZnSe-carbon heterostructures for sodium storage

A zinc-aluminum layered double hydroxide template induces the formation of ZnO/ZnSe heterostructures on coal-tar-pitch-derived porous carbon. The heterostructured interface and conductive carbon network improve reaction kinetics, support high reversible capacity and enhance long-term cycling stability in sodium-ion battery anodes.
