Figure 1 | Schematic illustration of the proposed device.  The structure consists of three cascaded components with varying waveguide widths and poling periods: a uniformly poled, dispersive-engineered waveguide for SCG; an up-conversion waveguide for UV and visible light generation; and a down-conversion waveguide for mid-infrared generation.
