Programmable multi-response MXene actuator

A multi-responsive MXene actuator with programmable complex deformations has been reported for soft robotic applications. Not only is this actuator responsive to humidity, light, and magnetic fields, but it also enables programmable complex 3D deformation through regulated micro-ridge orientation and heat-welding methods, paving a new way for the development of flexible smart devices.
