Schematic illustration of the synthesis and structure of Zn SAs/NSC with asymmetric Zn-N₄-S sites (IMAGE)
Caption
The one-step pyrolysis of ZIF-8 with K₂S₂O₃ produces a porous carbon framework with atomically dispersed Zn atoms coordinated by nitrogen and second-shell sulfur, forming asymmetric Zn-N₄-S configurations that enhance sulfur redox kinetics in AZSBs.
