Magnetic resonance imaging showing cerebral infarction.

Patients with moyamoya disease are at risk of cerebral infarction after undergoing revascularization surgery. The risk factors for this adverse event were unknown. This study identified preoperative stenosis of the major cerebral arteries as a risk factor for postoperative cerebral infarction.
