Network meta-analysis comparing 10 training modalities for change-of-direction speed improvement (IMAGE)
Caption
Bayesian network meta-analysis ranking of 10 training modalities for change-of-direction speed. Vertically resisted plyometric training (VR-plyo) achieved the highest SUCRA score (93.0%), followed by vertically resisted sprint training (VR-sprint, 80.7%). The network geometry and SUCRA plot illustrate the comparative effectiveness across 24 studies involving 744 recreationally active and trained participants.
