A schematic illustration showing how classical and emerging hepatitis B virus biomarkers, including quantitative HBsAg, HBV DNA, HBcrAg, HBV RNA, and quantitative anti-HBc, can be integrated into a clinical framework for pretreatment stratification, treatment monitoring, nucleos(t)ide analogue discontinuation, and post-treatment consolidation to support prediction of functional cure in chronic hepatitis B.
