Structural design and mechanistic analysis of Pt-based catalysts for the reverse water-gas shift reaction

The review organizes Pt-based RWGS catalyst development around metal-support interactions, Pt particle size, single-atom Pt catalysts, functional catalytic additives and bimetallic catalysts. In-situ characterization and theoretical studies are integrated to identify active sites and connect local catalyst structure with CO2 activation, intermediate conversion, CO selectivity and stability.
