Cs-Cu-I: Zn perovskite nanocrystals for high-CRI white LEDs (IMAGE)
Caption
Zn2+ preferentially substitutes the tetrahedrally coordinated Cu site in Cs3Cu2I5 NCs, significantly enhancing the PLQY from 56% to 86%. By integrating the Zn-doped Cs-Cu-I with a red-emitting double perovskite, a white LED is fabricated, which exhibits stable CIE coordinates of (0.33, 0.33) and a high CRI of 94.5. Furthermore, the device demonstrates excellent operational and environmental stability, highlighting its potential for high-quality solid-state lighting applications.
