Zinc-Copper alloy with alternating coarse- and fine-grained laminated heterostructure fabricated via laser powder bed fusion (IMAGE)
Caption
By employing laser powder bed fusion with alternating scanning between high and low laser energy densities, a heterostructured zinc–copper alloy with alternating coarse and fine grains was constructed, achieving a tensile strength of 245.6 MPa and an elongation of 12.7%, while its degradation rate precisely matched the bone healing cycle
