Caption
The age-standardized prevalence, mortality, and DALYs of maternal disorders among reproductive women aged 15–49 years in China showed substantial declines from 1990 to 2023, with prevalence declining from 357.96 to 193.04 per 100,000 population, mortality from 7.42 to 0.30 per 100,000, and DALYs from 460.41 to 27.78 per 100,000. The prevalence showed a declining trend with fluctuations, with a turning point occurring in approximately 2015 following the implementation of the two-child policy. Mortality and DALYs both showed consistent decreases over the study period.
