Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) has developed a drone-mounted system that autonomously detects adversarial unmanned aerial system (UAS) drones with event-based, neuromorphic cameras. The system potentially transforms any UAS into an autonomous precision interceptor designed to detect, track, pursue and neutralize rogue or hostile drones.
