Model of the interphase CCAN (constitutive centromere-associated network) kinetochore structure in chicken DT40 cells. The CCAN forms a shell-like structure, in which the CENP-C C-terminus composes the core region, while the CENP-T and CENP-N proteins are located on the surface.
