Concept of this study and the achieved effect
(a) Comparison with a conventional bonding technology. The PPA can adhere to one substrate through chemical affinity, while bonding to another, even incompatible, material via the anchor effect.
(b) The effect of using the PPA. By inserting a structured layer between the materials, the vertical tensile strength approximately doubles.
