Figure | Generation, encoding and self-referenced detection of the ST-Comb. a, Ultrafast wavepacket is shaped into a sequence of spatiotemporal-topological sub-pulses. The topological charge, radial mode, temporal separation and ST-CEP of different sub-pulses can be used for information encoding. b, A lock-in-inspired strategy maps high-dimensional information onto ultrafast spatiotemporal-spectral structures. c, The first Gaussian sub-pulse acts as a co-propagating Guide-Star for self-referenced coherent reconstruction.
