DAS-based traffic state perception framework (IMAGE)
Caption
Traffic-induced vibrations are captured by roadside optical fibers and transformed into time–location DAS signal maps. A coarse perception stage first identifies preliminary spatiotemporal trajectory patterns, which are then refined by a trajectory recognition network to recover vehicle trajectories more accurately. By integrating distributed acoustic sensing with data-driven spatiotemporal analysis, the method enables robust, non-intrusive, and accurate traffic trajectory monitoring in complex road environments.
