European Eel (Anguilla anguilla). This image relates to an article that appeared in the Sept. 25, 2009, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The study, by Dr. Kim Aarestrup at National Institute of Aquatic Resources and Danish Technical University in Silkeborg, Denmark and colleagues, was titled, "Oceanic Spawning Migration of the European Eel (Anguilla anguilla)."
